Consumer protection:

We handle all issues related to consumers, interacting both with companies and business associations. We have a deep knowledge of consumer protection regulations, which includes assistance in proceedings before the competent authorities (e.g. Competition and Market Authority, Communications Authority, ENAC) for unfair commercial practices, misleading advertising and, more generally, complaints, as well as disputes before Corecom and civil courts.

We also provide ongoing preventive consultancy such as screening company behavior, as well as reviewing contracts and service charters. We also offer tailor-made training based on the specific needs of the client.

RECENT EXPERIENCE

• Represented a German manufacturer in proceedings for allegedly misleading green claims

• Represented an online platform in contesting unfair behavior by a competitor

• Management of conciliation procedures on behalf of a company active in the mobile telephony sector

• Represented a company before the Competition and Market Authority in proceedings for suspected consumer fraud. The proceedings ended with no finding of infringement

• Assisted a company active in the cosmetics sector in relation to advertising characterized by appropriation of merits
